Hi all,

I have a Win2k-Professional PC with a share that is kind of popular in
our company. Often people try to connect, but cant, cause the maximum
user/share -connection is reached.

2-Questions:
------------
1) Is there a tool I could use on the following platforms:
Win2k/WinXP/Server2003 etc. that would tell me the
total possible connections, and how many of them are
    beeing used?
2) Whats the max. share connection for Win2k, Winxp -Professional?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Win2K Pro and XP Pro, maximum connections is 10, BUT a single PC may
make more than one connection.

For the latter your limit is the machine resources and number of licenses.

Hi all,

thanks for the answers! - Just this one still missing: What
possibilities do I have to VIEW how many more people can connect- or how
many of the available licenses are currently in use?

How/where do I view this???

TIA
Chris

Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Computer Management(local)\System
