Saving GIF and/or JPEG from MS PaintHi. I used to have a computer with Windows 2000 and used MS Paint a lot to
copy bitmaps and convert to GIF or JPEG. Then I got a new computer, also with Windows 2000, but to my surprise I can now only save in four different bitmap formats. Where did JPEG and GIF go. I have tried to search the internet and found things like "graphics filters must be installed" and that MS Word would contain graphics filters. And I have MS Word installed and from what I read the graphics filters for GIF and JPEG are always installed with Word. So why doesn't my Paint save to GIF or JPEG? Thanks in advance, eramawm Try reinstalling the graphic filters.
If you need help with this, supply more info about Word...is it a standalone version, part of an Office suite, and which version.
