Mistakenly deleted User Accountoriginal owners name Edwin to my name and though that the System would transfer those settings to my account so I deleted the original owners account; what a big mistake! I tried to solve this by creating the same user account under that same name but the System creates a folder in the Documents and Setting named Edwin.000 with it's fresh setting of desktop wallpaper image, my documents folder contents and Start menu items that are the default settings. One thing that I saw that makes me feel lucky though is that in the System Properties where User Profiles is, the system considers it as "account unknown" with information of the user account's size on the disk. so my question is how do I revert the settings to make the system know that user profile still exists so it will allow me to re-create an account under that same name to again and utilize the settings that were applied to it. Thanks in advance to anyone who has any help. Ushnell This article may help.
