Annoying popups in System Traymouse cursor on it, it tells you the name of the program it belongs to with text information but there are these two flashing icons on my systems tray that I consider very annoying and are getting on my last nerves. One keeps popping up saying Security Alert: Spyware and another keeps coming up with these offers to download Spyware scanning and removing software. I don't know how the hell these things got into my system tray in the first place (yeah I know they get there through net surfing) I know that I can remove them through the registry but I have not since been using Windows known where in the registry System Tray items are stored. I'm sure someone here in the communities knows this for sure. I am using Windows XP- Service Pack 2- Media Center Edition. any help is already appreciated. -- Ushnell Your system is compromised by malaware and who knows what else.
