Programs menuStart > Programs shows a list of recently used programs that can be
expanded to show all programs. Is it possible to change a setting somewhere such that Start > Programs always shows all programs? Hello Herbert,
You can copy all your programs shortcuts to All users profile after installing new software. But check also the account that you use for installation, that you remove them there, so that they aren't double in the list. However, I have another, related question: Windows XP offers a separate, customisable program list - see <http://www.herbeppel.de/Screenshots/XP_Start.png>. Am I right in assuming that Windows 2000 doesn't offer this feature? Hello Herbert,
You can not have this view by default in 2000, maybe with some 3rd party tools. But ofcourse you can configure the start menu in a small part over Taskbar and startmenu properties. I would be interested in any 3rd party tools that might offer the XP-style customisable program list as shown in <http://www.herbeppel.de/Screenshots/XP_Start.png> for Windows 2000.
