wondered if you folks are working generally in the US today ?? Terry Burns http://TrainingOn.net If there's a public holiday here today, I missed the memo! My company
gave us the day off on Friday for the Easter holiday. I'm not sure if today is a federal holiday or not. Thanks Chris, I guess that's answers my question!.

working earlier today. Different companies have different policies.
Since Easter is always on Sunday, people usually have that day off anyway, so many companies don't feel obligated to give an additional day off for this holiday. Now, another common thing is for companies to schedule major system upgrades during holidays when no-one will be around. When I was an IT guy, I went like 5 years without a holiday off. Quite often the upgrades don't go as planned and things aren't back online when they thought they would be. So it is relatively common to find systems down right after a holiday.
