The expresses versions are stripped down versions of the Professional edition, you will not be able to develop certain types of apps ( like for pocketPCs ) also they have a licensing for a certain time, after that it depends of MS if they are extended or not. -- Show quoteHide quoteIgnacio Machin, ignacio.machin AT dot.state.fl.us Florida Department Of Transportation "msnews.microsoft.com" <ashi***@armour.com> wrote in message news:e6I7ofCHGHA.916@TK2MSFTNGP10.phx.gbl... > Hello > > Can any one tell me that if I buy Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 > Professional for dotnet, do I get following product > Visual Basic Express > Visual C# Express > Sql Server Express > Web Devlopment Express Edition > > I know these tools are availabe for free download from microsoft. > > What is the difference between express products and MS Visual Studio 2005 > Professional version?
