Help VS 2005 Dead in Water for VB project

VS2005 running smooth for several months.  While working on project today, I
got some type of error message.  Without closely studying, I clicked OK
expecting to restart successfully or repeat the message.

Now whenever I open VS2005 and load an existing project or create a new
project, I can no longer start debugging.  The toolbar button is disabled and
F5 does not work.  (There is no new error message at any point.)  I have
rebooted. but that does not help.  With a new boot and new project, still no
F5.  Something changed when I got the error message.  I don't know what.

Is there something that can automatically change to disable debugging when I
encountered that unevaluated error message.  What can I do to make VS2005
start debugging again with a brand new project?  I have no idea of where to
look except to uninstall and reinstall.

Additional info:

Tools>>Options>>Debugger shows the following message:

An error occurred loading this property page.

Sounds like a reinstall is the only way to go.

Hi,

I think a repair of visual studio is your best option.
