Is Visual Studio Installer available with Visual Basic 2005 ExpresI have only VB 2005 Express Edition. The New Project window doesn't contain
any item for "setup" or "deployment" or "installer". There is an icon to click to search for other "templates" or "wizards", but clicking it produces a message that "none are available at this time". Is there any way I can get the VS Installer and use it with VB Express? -- Thanks. roho***@hotmail.com On Sun, 4 Jun 2006 08:31:02 -0700, Bob Homes <roho***@hotmail.com.(nospam)> wrote:

You can freely download the 1.1 version but it isn't the integrated version found in Visual Studio.NET. Paul ~~~~ Microsoft MVP (Visual Basic) Paul,
I downloaded vs installer 1.1, but couldn't get it installed on my system. It comes in two files ("setup1.exe" and "setup2.exe" I believe). I run the first one, and it unzips files into a folder I name. But then when I run the next setup file, it give me an error messages, saying there's not enought room on my hard disk -- when I have about 150 GB left on my hard disk. Do you know anything about that error. (I tried asking Microsoft, but never got an answer.) -- Show quoteHide quoteThanks. roho***@hotmail.com "Paul Clement" wrote: > On Sun, 4 Jun 2006 08:31:02 -0700, Bob Homes <roho***@hotmail.com.(nospam)> wrote: > > ¤ I have only VB 2005 Express Edition.
