Dll fails to register

Hi

I've created a couple of new dll's and bundled them up into an *.msi file.

When I run the install I get the message that 'c:\program files\common
files\crystal decisions\2.0\bin\sacommoncontrols.dll fails to register'.

I've tried adding this to my setup project and it prompts me to add the
'database_access.msm' merge module instead.  I do this but still get the
same error.

Previous projects that use Crystal have never had a problem installing.

Any ideas please.

I have now downloaded the latest merge modules for Crystal for VB.

I have removed all references to existing merge modules from my 'setup'
project and added the new file.

Upon install I now receive the error:
'The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package.
This may indicate a problem with this package.  The error code is 2908.'
(This error code is listed as: Error 2908 - Could not register component)
I click on this error several times and the install appears to continue
until showing the following:
'Error writing to file: CrystalDecisions.Shared.Resources.dll.  Verify that
you have access to that directory.'
I am then prompted to abort the installation.

I am an Admin on this machine and so have unrestricted rights.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Fixed thanks.

No longer any need to added the merge module into the setup project.  Just
right click setup project and go to properties>>prerequisites.  Make sure CR
for DotNet Framework 2.0 is checked.
