vb express question

Hi there

I downloaded and am using VB Express.
One thing that i dont know why this happends is that when im in design mode,
the UI appear XP style but when i run the application, the controls render
as classic windows controls.

Why does this happen?

In the application settings, enable the application framework, and
enable the option "Enable XP visual styles"
