Opening Excel

Mr. Novice

A co-worker and I have a VB.Net app that is used to open applications using a
different set of credentials. If somebody has Excel opened and then tries to
open another spreadsheet using the app that runs under a different set of
credentials Excel gives an error saying that it cant. Is there a way to be
running Excel or another Office app and then start that same office app using
a different set of credentials?

What do you mean different set of credentials.

Do you want to open excel instance 1 as Joe Bloggs
and open excel instance 2 as Jane Doe

And are you opening the same spreadsheet with both instances?
