Project in VB.Net 2005 Professional EditionHi All,
I have a project create n coded in VB.Net 2005 professional edition. Can I use express edition to open this project? It seem like some code is not match. Or anythings i need to set in express edition? Any advice is much appreciated. Regards, Teh -- Regards, Venedict Sept. 10, 2006
Some things in the higher versions are not available in the Express editions, and therefore you may get some errors/messages that things aren't working. Also, I had a problem with my solution where I had multiple project types (windows & web).... and the Windows projects would load but I'd get a message for each web project.... this was because Express I guess doesn't open Web Express and Express for WIndows apps in the same VS instance. Therefore, you may have to open each project type individually using each version of express. -- Show quoteHide quoteJoseph Bittman Microsoft Certified Solution Developer Microsoft Most Valuable Professional -- DPM Blog/Web Site: http://CactiDevelopers.ResDev.Net/ "Venedict" <Vened***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CE1E3165-93FC-49C3-9A44-BBFCB81EAD5B@microsoft.com... > Hi All, > > I have a project create n coded in VB.Net 2005 professional edition.
