Hi Folks

I am dealing with a project in which I have to convert the image files as
PDF files. Can anyone please suggest how can we achieve that. I tried on
google for it, but I found some commercial components, is there any
alternative way to achieve this.
Please suggest. Thanks in advance

Careful of this one:

Copyied from their page:
How about RTF or PDF?
We can read and write RTF and save as PDF. PDF support will probably be a
premium feature, though, which means it will be part of a paid subscription
once Writely is no longer in beta test.

So it looks like it wont be free forever.

There are a number of PDF printer drivers that you can use.  Just
"print" your image to the PDF printer as you would a regular printer.

One that I saw was called CutePDF and its free:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
pdfcreator works as a printer.
If you can open the image and print it, you can choose the pdfcreator as the
printer.
it is open source - so you may can exmine the code and get an idea.
