changing book for study

Hello people,

i wanna learn Visual Basic.net & Asp.net (i was using ASP3 before (with VB
language))

So i have a book (Visual Basic.net version
2003)(http://www.microapp.com/fiche_technique.cfm?ref_produit=4340)
i only read few page of it because of no time :-(

now i have time to read 2 3 book of programing and what the best thing.

buy a new book about Visual Basic 2005 (and of course NET Framework 2.0)
or
read the old one (2003) and then complet the rest by browse the internet ?

i'm looking for the quicker way to learn and the more reliable

You can throw about 90% of that out - .NET is pretty different than the
ASP/VB.

You might want to pick up a book on Object Oriented Programming (any
language)... it'll provide you witha  good foundation for .NET : )

i want a book a little more specific. talking about (deeply) of VB.net &
ASP.Net but i dont know if i must read myn "old" book of 2003 and then
complet des rest with browse the web.
or start a new book of version 2005 (framework 2 or 3 is good to ;-) )
