How can I use the Toolbox Control in my Application?Hi,
I'm new to VB2005 developement. I've the following questions: 1) Can I create or use the control like the 'Toolbox' of Visual Studio 2005 in my application? If not, any alternatives to do in that way? 2) If a window form control doesn't have 'opacity' property, can I add that property myself? As my programming experience in VB2005 is very little, pls explain with codes as possible as u can. Thx. very much for help and reply! Best regards, Karl Fu Hi Karl,
For number 1, you could try SandDock (http://www.divil.co.uk/net/controls/sanddock/) They offer MS style controls, like Office's side bar that usually contains recent files. Its very handy, but can be annoying at times. SandDock was made to mimic most office controls, so it should have what you're looking for. As for question 2, I may be wrong, but I don't believe it is possible to add in the 'opacity' property. I have never required it, but some one with more experience may know better.
