Hi .

I have experience in VB6 .   Recently , I started learning (independently)
VB.NET  , under the Beta 1 version of  VS2005 .

However , there are not many books about VB2005 :  VB2005 isn't completed
yet .
Would I buy a book about VB.NET 2003 ?     and if yes , which book/s is/are
recommended ,
and what are the advantages/disadvantages of each of the books ?

Thanks in advance ,
Lior .

Lior,

These newsgroups are a good resource for help about VBNet.

However please do not multipost, we don't like that. When you are using a
newsreader as OE, than crosspost, what is sending one message to the
relevant newsgroups. Than we can learn all from each others experience.

I answered you in another newsgroup

Thanks in advance

Well i really love "Programming Microsoft Viual Basic .Net "
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0735620598/qid=1113648994/sr=8-2/ref=pd_csp_2/104-6648550-1123157?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

from Francesco Balena

i also have his VB6 book and they are both official  MS core references

i do not know if they will also publish a 2005 version as they did with 2000
> 2003 version

( i still use the 2000 version with VS.net 2003 and i did notice that some
class definitions have changed  as they were described in the book but aftes
some searching i get everything to work )
