Web Site ImagesWe previously used the System.Drawing namespace for image management in our
web app. System.Drawing is not reliable for web apps, and even Microsoft says that in their page about System.Drawing. Should I be looking at Silverlight now? One specific issue I have is to determine an image's dimensions at run-time. Note, not the asp:image control's dimensions, the dimensions of the image itself. Any ideas? Thanks Brett Ossman Brett,
I don't think you get the best possible answers on your question here. For this question is Microsoft.public.dotNet.framework.aspnet probably a better place Cor Show quoteHide quote "Brett Ossman" <BrettOss***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7BA963F0-A3AE-44A4-BCA3-261AD0CCDB5B@microsoft.com... > We previously used the System.Drawing namespace for image management in > our > web app. System.Drawing is not reliable for web apps, and even Microsoft > says that in their page about System.Drawing. > > Should I be looking at Silverlight now? > > One specific issue I have is to determine an image's dimensions at > run-time. > Note, not the asp:image control's dimensions, the dimensions of the image > itself. > > Any ideas? > > Thanks > Brett Ossman Hmm, when I posted there, it said this was Data Access Components. I see two answers on a question from you in the ASPNET forum, but they did not understand your question. Moreover, I think that they did not know what Silverlight is. Otherwise simply take a MSDN forum about Silverlight Cor Show quoteHide quote "Brett Ossman" <BrettOss***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:72C858A3-A162-4CCF-B366-4E35532F66F2@microsoft.com... > Hmm, when I posted there, it said this was Data Access Components.
