Create new MBRWe have a Windows 2000 server that had mirrored hard drives. The main hard
drive crashed and I was able to create a boot floppy and get booted off the second hard drive. Now that I have replaced the drive I can't get the server to boot off of the hard drive I still have to use floppy. What do I need to do to boot back off of the hard drive. Thanks for your help! I had
to also make a DOS partition on it and set it as Active. Then the Windows 2000 installed on C on the primary disk. The Primary disk cannot have a boot sector on it for this to work. -- Show quoteHide quoteGeorge Hester _______________________________ "philo" <ph***@privacy.net> wrote in message news:qf6dnY0d1fO1kmTfRVn-tw@athenet.net... > Joel Kauffman wrote: > > We have a Windows 2000 server that had mirrored hard drives.
