is it possible to 'trim' the user profiles?

i have 4 user profiles on my home pc and all uses over 500Mb!
my OS disk has only 8Gb and with the pagefile and games the disk is severely
short on space.

Can't get Win2K to detect CD/RW drive...
Cannot access Control panel
Time Sync Monitoring Tool
Computer will not boot up from diskette or CD-ROM
Removing unused port type
Create new MBR
ZIP icons eternally corrupted - I am going crazy!
help - 16 bit app won't run
