KB823353 Keeps Trying to InstallAutomatic Update keeps telling me this update is ready to install. It
installs it and then it pops up again saying it's ready to install! Huh? IE/OE version is 6.0.2800.1106. Anyone know what's going on here? TIA -- Scott Scott wrote:

Then install KB897715 again. -- torgeir, Microsoft MVP Scripting and WMI, Porsgrunn Norway Administration scripting examples and an ONLINE version of the 1328 page Scripting Guide: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/default.mspx Same problem here but when I went to uninstall KB897715 I got a huge list of
most of the programs on my computer saying that they might not run correctly in it was uninstalled. If I go ahead with this and successfuly install the repeating one, can I then go to the Windows update site and will it reinstall KB897715 for me all right? I can't afford to have this machine go down on me if possible. If there's any doubt I would rather just put up with the update reminder and ignore it. -- Show quoteHide quotePeter in New Zealand. An alternative is to download and install KB897715 manually.
