Reauthenticate active user

Is there a way we can compel a user to reauthenticate after x number
of hours. I have seen solutions for idle users but none for active
users. Is this possible?

Reauthenticate Active user?!?!?!? Force a Logoff if I understand the
question as posed!

What we are trying to do is disconnect the computer from the domain
and make the user login to the NT4 domain again after x number of
hours. If that involves logging them off the computer, so be it.

Then Force a Logoff, but make sure you give them notice and countdown to
save files.
