Using XP Pro on client machine on Server 2003 network. Trying to print from
RDP from Windows 2000 application server. Will not automatically detect
printer on USB port. Can I install driver manually if so how or is there a
configuration for automatic redirect that must be enabled?

Thanks for your assistance and experience!

To map your local printers to your RDP session, you need to click the
"Printers" box on the "Local Resources" tab of the Remote Desktop Connection
(before you connect to the server).

If the printer does not appear in your RDP client session, you can always
work around this by sharing out your printer over the network and connecting
back to it from within your RDP session.
