Windows 2000 Server Login Scripts @#$*&@#$@%$

I have a rather urgent problem, in other words my job relies on me finding a solution.

Basically, i can't get my login scripts to run when the user logs into windows.
I've set it up correctly under Active directory ( as far as i can tell ), but when i log in as a user of the group That the script is applied to, nothing happens.

I set the script to map a network drive ( ZDirectory )
and then to run a program off that mapped drive.
I've tested the scripts nd they seem to work fine ( i get the reaction i want )
But at user login nothing happens at all. ( No scripts seem to run )
I have no idea where to start looking for the cause of the problem and frustration is'nt helping me solve the problem either.

I would appreciate any help u guys can give.
Thankz
