I am trying to install a linksys usb wireless network adapter.  It will work
for several minutes but then it stops working.  It seems that maybe the USB
driver is not staying on.  Somehow it keeps getting reset.

I don't know if that will help.

If you go into device manager, do you see a conflict with your device?

Did you install the linksys driver or did Windows 2000 pick it up?
