Hang on My Computer

When I click on My Computer ( or right click on Start/Explorer) the window
opens ; the flashlight starts roving and sometimes one or 2 icons show up -
but usually it just sits there unitl I CAD. THen it might take 3 or 4
attmepts to stop the task

Do you have an antivirus running on it? Try to disconnect from the network
and desactivate antivirus and other third party software.

Then check using the Task Manager if there is any strange process running
that is using memory or cpu in a not appropriate way.
