Running windows 2000 pro.  Was running fineand all of a sudden when
attempting to run Norton, Spybot and some other programs, the system locks
up.  Only way to shut down is to do a hard shut down.  memory problem?
Anyone with ideas...please.

Hi Kah,
Your System Memory overrun by these mentioned Utilities,Try to do it in Safe
Mode,or one when you boot at a time, your system resources are limited,or you
can increase Memory  by adding more to your OS.
Hope this helps

Hi,
Download these Utilities and do scan in both (Safe Mode,Normal logon),
http://www.ik-cs.com/programs/virtools/multi_AV.exe
With Muli-AV you need to connect to the internet to download the Update for
and Scan Tool like (McAfee,Sophos,Trend)
and read how to use each one in the help Doc with tools

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger.
hope this help.
