Disk Clean Up/ Registry Prob

Hello,
I have been trying to clean and update a Windows 2000 computer running
service pack 4. I keep receiving these messages that there are errors on my
disk and in my registry and when I click to scan it takes me to a program
that offers to fix the problem for $$$$. Can anybody help. Also when I try
to run Disk Cleanup, my computer reboots after about 15 minutes of crunching.

sounds more like a spyware issue than anything else. Run Spybot search and
destroy and these messages will go away.

then get a decent disk cleaner and run it regularly
