I've tried to follow the instructions but the options are not the same. I
have windows 2000 advanced server.

There's no asian language options anywhere in control panel regional
settings .

There's no Languages tab, with a checkbox [ ] Install files for East
Asian languages?

What do you get from Windows Help when you look up keywords like 'Asian'
or 'Japanese'.

NB The unicode support is there regardless of checking such a box - this
is basically just to add fonts and IMEs.
