Hi All,
I have a laptop Dell d600 P4. I shutdown and brought the laptop home from work. When i tried powering the laptop up it has the two lights on Power, Hard disk, stays on for 3 seconds and then switches itself off. I have attempted the following, taking the battery out and blowing on the contacts putting the battery back in, checked the memory modules were seated correctly, they were, took the hard disk out and put back in restarted machine but still get the same problem stays on for three seconds and then switches itself off. Please could someone help as this is very important. Kind Regards. -- Peter Are you able to try with a mains pwr adapter?
If this occurs before any post, sound kinda terminal, ie a switch problem?
