Jason,

Where does one find Err and what is the syntax to use it? I am also having
great difficulty finding code explanations, specifically from the ntbackup
program.

Most error codes reported by the Task Scheduler are,
in fact, generated by the scheduled application, or
ntbackup.exe in your case.

ntbackup.exe produces a full error report. Have a look
for "c:\documents and settings\backup*.log".

No trouble at all finding the log - but I am having great difficulty finding
assistance to help me decipher the log and also the scheduler codes. Thanks
for your reply.

Regards, Peter.
