When a directory is opened, Windows displays all the directories & files residing in the parent directory but the same doesn't happen with the system directories - WINNT & Program Files. When these 2 directories are opened for the first time during a session, the directories & the files residing in these 2 directories are not displayed; instead a "Show Files" link  provided in the 2 directories has to be clicked to navigate through the directories & files. Why so?

Thanks,

Arpan

To keep people who don't know better from messing up their systems....

I can't tell you how many people have called support lines after they deleted all those dilly .dll files they thought they didn't need.
