Is it possible to add a network printer to a persons computer remotely?  Is
there a way to go into their registry remotely and add it to their profile?

Thanks,
Jasper

You can do anythink via the registry if you have the patience
and knowledge to work out what needs doing . . .

A simpler way would be via a remote takeover. My clients
are all over town, and when one of them has this type of
question then I ask him to click the WinVNC shortcut on
his desktop. This makes his desktop visible on my screen
and it gives me immediate control over his mouse and keyboard.

The package is WinVNC, and I'm running it in "listening"
mode on my PC, in order to protect my client's privacy.
WinVNC is free.
