USB problemI have a problem with USB storage devices , my memory stick and external (My
Books ) USB storage devices are not working, the drivers appear to have vanished "Code 28" I have installed all the Windows updates SP4 rollup 1 but still cant access these devices . I have a USB mouse that works perfectly well on the first USB port but is no longer recognised on the second USB port. Yet both ports recognise other USB devices. In other words, you might have an incompatibility that affects just USB storage devices. Yes they work on other PC .
Its just a simple memory stick I connected it to the PC to work on a spreadsheet for a couple of hours when I went to save the work the memory stick was no longer visible .
