After i Updated my xSeries IBM 230 server with Rollup 1 for SP 4, when it
rebooted it came with the well known blue screen. I was not able to boot up
in any mode (promt or anything). So im not able to uninstall the rollup
again. Is there any way i can undo the damage when i cant boot up the system.

Yes.
Boot into recovery console with the Windows 2000, WIndows XP or Windows
Server 2003 CD. Here are some references:

NOTE: You will need to know your local Administrator password (or the
Directory Services Restore Mode password for a DC) and you will probably
need a floppy disk with your mass storage controller driver. Here is a
reference:

Once you get to a command prompt in Recovery Console, follow these steps:

1) Boot into recovery console. (redundant)2) Navigate to
c:\winnt\system32\drivers directory.3) Ren scsiport.sys scsiport.urp.4)
Navigate to the c:\winnt\$ntupdaterolluppackuninstall$ directory.5) copy
scsiport.sys c:\winnt\system32\drivers.6) Reboot into windows. 7) Call
Microsoft Technical Support and open a non-fee case and request the
yet-unpublished hotfix kb9043748) Install the hotfix 904374 and reboot and
make sure everything is working fine.

Jesper,

I suspect that by now you've gone down the server recovery road so I'm
probably no help.

I posted on this topic earlier, trying to beat up some awareness...

Does this sound related?

Svend.
